Dark Horse Records and Record Store Day are excited to continue their multi-year partnership to release limited Zoetrope picture disc pressings of George Harrison’s entire studio album catalog.
Harrison’s acclaimed triple-LP, All Things Must Pass. All Things Must Pass was released by Apple Records in November 1970. Co-produced by Harrison and Phil Spector, many musicians contributed to the album, including Eric Clapton, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston, Pete Drake, Gary Wright, Klaus Voormann, members of Badfinger, players from Delaney and Bonnie’s band, and John Barham.

The triple-LP was a number one album around the world and earned universal acclaim as a rock masterpiece. George became the first Beatle to have a solo number one single in both the UK and America with the album’s lead single, “My Sweet Lord, ” which introduced his signature slide guitar playing. George co-wrote the album’s opening track, “I’d Have You Anytime” with his friend Bob Dylan, who also wrote another song on the landmark album, “If Not For You."
This limited Zoetrope pressing, which features the album’s original mix, was exclusive to Record Store Day with only 5,000 copies globally, with 2,300 of those designated for the U.S. market.
The remaining 2,700 copies were distributed to other regions, including the UK.
The UK received an unspecified portion of the 2,700 copies that were distributed internationally.
Since there was a limit of 5,000 copies worldwide, and the UK is part of that global distribution, the number available to UK customers was significantly fewer than the total number of pressings produced.
This made securing a copy challenging for collectors.
