GEORGE HARRISON “ALL THINGS MUST PASS” 3 LP APPLE BOX SET W/BIG POSTER ~ NM VINYL





For sale from my late husband’s private collection, is GEORGE HARRISON’s  “All Things Must Pass”. Copyright 1970.  Three (3) LP Album Apple Box Set; Manufactured in England. STCH-639.  Comes with large poster.
 
OVERALL this album is in EXCELLENT condition. (See specifics below).  I’ve included a lot of photos so you can get a better idea about the condition of this album.
 
Flip Box Album Cover: In EX condition.  Light wear, 2 tiny scratches on back. The lid, hinges and corners are completely intact.  No splits to box corners. There is a small separation on top center. Front cover has a slight bubble where the paper layer raised. Other than that, the cover is near-perfect. The overall coloration to the cover is excellent (see pictures for up-close details).

Vinyl: Three record set is in Near Mint (NM), superb playing condition. Visually vinyl is glossy and clean; I cannot see any surface scuffs or scratches. Looks beautiful…all 6 sides!!

Record Labels: Near Mint condition.  No writing, tears or scuffs.  Clean with no spindle wear; In perfect condition.

Colored Lyric Sleeves: In VG++ condition.  Includes purple, tan and olive inner sleeves.  Minor creasing and may have a couple of slight splitting, but not all the way through the seams. The records have been removed from their sleeves to prevent damage or seam splits and placed in snug 33-1/2 RPM white sleeves with holes for labels.
 
Poster: Near Mint condition. Folded and never hung; no holes, tears or flaws.

Packaging: This album will be packed in a professional record mailer.
 
Overview
Without a doubt, Harrison's first solo recording is his best. Drawing on his backlog of unused compositions from the late Beatles era, Harrison crafted material that managed the rare feat of conveying spiritual mysticism without sacrificing his gifts for melody and grand, sweeping arrangements. Enhanced by Phil Spector's lush orchestral production and Harrison's own superb slide guitar, nearly every song is excellent: "Awaiting on You All," "Beware of Darkness," the Dylan collaboration "I'd Have You Anytime," "Isn't It a Pity," and the hit singles "My Sweet Lord" and "What Is Life" are just a few of the highlights.

I ship USPS FIRST CLASS, PRIORITY MAIL or USPS PARCEL POST for all domestic shipments. International shipments are sent via USPS AIRMAIL/PRIORITY MAIL, or USPS EMS for insured items. I will gladly combine auctions for shipping.

We pack very carefully in order to ensure a safe transit, however insurance is strongly recommended for all breakables and collectibles, as we will not be held responsible for loss or damage once the item(s) have been shipped. Insurance may be required for certain items based on value and fragility.  Insurance requirements will be specified in the item's description.

The majority of the items I put up for bid come from my late husband and his parents' estate.  My in-laws were both born in the Midwest in 1913.  "Pop" lived to the of 91 and "Mom" to the age of 96. Then a couple of years ago, I unexpectedly lost my wonderful husband after 40 years of marriage.

During the last few years, I had the painstaking task of going through all their belongings either to keep, disperse to friends and relatives or to sell.  After doing five Estate Sales and donations to various charity organizations, there are hundreds of household items, decor, clothing and collectible items left.  Although they weren't what you would call "pack rats", Mom and Pop were from the "old school" whereby they took excellent care of everything they owned and didn't replace anything unless it was broken or worn out.  It?s amazing how pristine I found the condition of so many very old items! 

My mother-in-law also loved to buy and collect beautiful things.  She especially loved to buy clothes and accessories.  Up until just a few years before they passed, they were both active in their church and community.  They frequently attended luncheons and parties and always dressed to the nines.  They were also very generous people who gave to about every charity there was.  If you happened to admire mom's earrings, she'd take them right off and give them to you right then and there!!

I was blessed to have such loving and generous people in my life. My husband was an only child so his parents always treated me like the daughter they never had.  It's been very difficult for me to sell off their possessions and especially to part with so many pretty figurines, music boxes, vintage clothes, accessories, china, silver....it goes on and on.  If I had more room, you bet I'd be keeping most of it!

Many of the items I will be selling have more sentimental value for me than dollar value.  Because of this, I want you to be happy with your purchases and I want to make sure everything exceeds your expectations.   I take extra care in packing so it gets to you safely and quickly.  I'm not an e-Bay store, so I'm able to provide for you the extra care and personal customer service you deserve.
