Description
This is a fine copy from an early unofficial reissue (boot) of the very rare debut LP by George Brigman, originally released in 1975. Brigman grew up in a working-class part of Baltimore, and recorded this LP largely in his apartment (nicknamed "the Hole"). Its tracks alternate between gritty fuzz-fests like "DMT," "I Feel Alright," and the title track, and gentler songs. Interestingly, guitarist Tony (T.S.) McPhee of British group the Groundhogs was Brigman's idol at the time: he named his label, Solid Records, after one of the group's LPs, and titled one track on the LP "(T.S.)." This pressing was the first reissue of the LP in any format. The jacket is close to M- with some light creasing (EX+). Visually, the disc is clean. The pressing's source disc played with some light surface noise and occasional popping. Grading this copy visually, M-.
