GEOFF GODDARD GIRL BRIDE HMV POP 938 JOE MEEK RGM EX
On auction is a GEOFF GODDARD 45 rpm entitled GIRL BRIDE c/w FOR ETERNITY released in the UK on HMV POP 938 in 1961.
Both sides of this 45 are RGM Sound Recording productions under the supervision of the celebrated producer - Joe Meek. Also they are both credited on the label as being ‘with accompaniment directed by Bob Duke.’ As you may know Robert Duke was one of the various pseudonyms used by Meek on record labels.
The record is housed in its original HMV label company sleeve.
The record label is nice and clean.
The disc is visually in nice EX condition.
I have test-played this 45 for this auction and it sounded very nice on my BOSE hi-fi system.
