Eddie Cochran and Gene Vincent signed 1960 UK tour programme
DESCRIPTION A wonderful, original, UK tour programme from 24th January 1960 when Eddie and Gene played the Gaumont Theatre in Ipswich, England, the first date of their ill fated UK tour.
The fan who attended the show that night had his programme signed by the stars of the show, Eddie Cochran, Gene Vincent and Vince Eager, across their pages in the programme.
On the 16th April 1960 after a show at the Bristol Hippodrome, Eddie and Gene's car was involved in an accident and Eddie lost his life. The fan who had met Eddie and Gene only a few months earlier kept cuttings and front pages from the national newspapers reporting the tragic events.
The tour programme is in clean condtion with some folds and wear as pictured above. The newspaper clippings are included in the original album they were collected in, 56 years ago in 1960.
