Beatles 1966 Genuine Scranton Peeled Mono Butcher Cover w/Peeled Trunk Cover
Ok folks, I am relisting this at a final reduced price. Please compare this to what is out there currently selling in the $600 to $800 range and you will see that this blows away what is currently selling in that price range. A great deal even at the Buy It Now price. Not to going over hype this but this one of the nicer all around looking mono peels we have had in a while. Capttol factory pasteover glue lines/residue is minimal. The back is fairly clean with some light aging/foxing mostly confined to the edges and minor wear. Top and bottom seams are mostly solid with a slight small split 1/2" near the top seam edge and the bottom seam has a similar small split near the edge and a slightly larger one near the center of the seam. These have been neatly secured and don't look like serious issues at all. The spine has a bit more noticeable split from the word "Yesterday and " on up to the top. There is a similar but much lighter paper splitting near the bottom of the spine but it should be noted that most of the spine writing is present although some numbers or letters are worn. Near Mint Peeled mono Butcher Covers can sell for as high as $1200 or even $1600 or more if they are really nice. While this couldn't be considered close to near mint as far as the overall jacket condition is concerned, I have often seen peeled mono's of lesser condition often sell for the $700 to $1000 range. This is a guaranteed original 1966 Capitol 3rd state mono Butcher cover. This is only a 5 day auction.
Also, this album cover comes with the the peeled trunk slick in condition as shown and an original 1966 Goldenrod Capitol Inner Sleeve and VG record. Record looks clean with a few minor scuffs and has NOT been play graded.. Please note that the John Lennon t-shirt seen in the background is NOT INCLUDED in this auction !
