X-Ray Spex Genuine 1977 Virgin VS189 ‘Oh Bondage Up Yours / I am A Cliché’ Promo Poster 

Size 24” inches x 17” inches, in overall excellent condition, would really suit being framed. Extremely Rare poster that will only appreciate in value.

Mega Rare Opportunity to buy this original Virgin Records promotional poster VS 189 for the X-Ray Spex's debut single "Oh Bondage Up Yours!" which was released in September 1977. Singer-songwriter Poly Styrene was inspired to write the song after seeing The Sex Pistols perform in 1976, informing the suggestive lyrics and their articulation of capitalist materialism as a type of bondage. Although it failed to make its mark on the charts, it quickly became a celebrated punk anthem and is retrospectively hailed as one of punk's defining moments.
