Description

Here is a Gentle Giant UK LP titled- Octopus with Cat No 6360 080. It is a UK 1st press with the Vertigo Swirl label from 1972 with 1Y1 / 2Y1 matrix. The disc is lovely with a nice sheen both sides and visual graded EX+ I have play tested this LP as seen in my 12 photos on my Thorens TD160 Turntable and it plays very well both sides.There is some very feint light unobtrusive background in just some of the quiet passages.I would play grade it EX+ The labels are very clean and EX+ The sleeve has some signs of shelf wear and a light stain inside the top of the gatefold.It has a nice opening edge and spine and no tears or splits and still displays very well.I would grade it VG. The inner sleeve is EX. This classic Prog record will upgrade a lot of Octopus discs out there for sure.
