“Seconds Out” has gone down in history as one of the best live LPs by any band, capturing the essence of that 1976/77 tour, post-Gabriel and before Hackett jumped ship. Recorded at their Paris gig, it’s a powerful statement of that phoenix-like band which had been written off, and yet which returned reinvigorated and renewed, to rapturous applause and acclaim.
In 2019 Abbey Road Studios released this, a half-speed master of that seminal live album, which enables the listener to hear this incredible album at its very best. The number of copies issued was strictly limited and each comes with a half-speed mastering certificate and the OBI strip with all the details on.
This copy is brand new and sealed, just waiting for the cellophane to be ripped off and for the glorious live recording to burst from your speakers! These are getting pretty expensive now, so I’ve priced this copy keenly to give the Genesis afficianado a chance to sample the beauty of this fantastic recording.
