Detailed description
Vinyl: The vinyl has retained its original sheen with some hairlines, sleeve removal lines and fine surface marks, and there are also some more-obvious surface marks on side one, but there is nothing significant anywhere.  I have played the entire record and it generally sounds great with very little to report. At the very start of the album in the a cappella intro there are ten clicks, but after that there is little to report and any clicks that are heard are solitary or brief (in twos and threes) and quiet. There is some background noise in the run-ins/outs, fades, silent grooves and intros, but there's nothing loud or intrusive anywhere. Apart from those ten clicks at the very beginning, this is a superb audio performance and the whole album was a pleasure to listen to. I would play-grade this around Excellent, or a SAFE Excellent minus (Ex-). The visual grading for side one would be lower.

Cover: Original 1st press E.J. Day cover has some typical signs of age and use, but no splits, tears etc. These original pale covers are prone to grubbiness and ring-wear and there are also some minor edge creases etc. The only significant issue is in the top left corner of the front cover where the pale background colour has worn/rubbed away.
