This is the UK 2nd press of 'Nursery Cryme' by Genesis. This complete early press has the B&C credit on the inside of the textured EJ Day gatefold sleeve and on the label. It has the original plain white inner sleeve. The record is pressed with the early Mad Hatter Charisma label and has the earliest A-1U / B-2U matrix and it still has only the earliest press 'Hiltop' hand etched in the runout.
The record is in Very Good++ condition. The record has a sensational rarely played high gloss with just a small light mark on Side A and just a few of the very slightest hairlines. The Charisma labels are completely clean, the colours are lovely and bright and the text is sharp. There is no spindle wear. On playing the sound is extremely vibrant and clear. The mark makes a couple of very light clicks and there is the occasional slight background noise but this is largely insginificant as the record sounds superb. The record is complete with the original plain white inner sleeve in Excellent+ condition.
The rare textured B&C credit gatefold sleeve is in Excellent+ condition. The colours are still exceptionally bright and the front cover image is entirely unworn. There is just some corner wear. The inside is also in fantastic condition. The colour brown is bold and the lyrics and pictures are lovely and clear. The B&C credit is clearly printed on the left side. The whole cover still feels very firm and the spine is extremely solid. It truly is in fantastic condition.
