GENESIS: Happy The ManItalian various artists promotional album sampler. Features a one minute excerpt of the non-album track "Happy The Man". Lovely copy; the record is in excellent condition - close to near mint on the A-side with just a few hairline marks in a few spots, though barely visible and barely any wear to the B-side, though there are some cloudy/hazy patches in places, but these are minimal. I've graded the record as near mint, based on the overall condition of the both sides, it is a good copy and might benefit from cleaning. Sleeve - which is the original, is in excellent condition with minimal wear from handling. Nice copy and although it isn't as rare as the other Ariston sampler, it is still a difficult item to find in good shape, as this one is.

NB: I am a private collector and this particular single, and all of the others I have listed, were mine and are now surplus to requirements. Media (record) graded first — visually under LED lighting, followed by the sleeve.

Grading system
I use the standard grading system introduced by Record Collector to determine the condition of the records I am selling, with either a + or – added where necessary to provide a wider selection of grades for greater accuracy.
- Mint (M)
The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. - Excellent (EX)
The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. - Very Good (VG)
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. - Good (G)
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc. - Fair (F)
The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced. - Poor (P)
The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing. - Bad (B)
The record is unplayable or might even be broken and is only of use as a collection-filler.
