Background~


From Genesis to Revelation was issued in a black sleeve with its title scribed in gothic gold on the top lefthand side. With little else to go by, the record shops stacked the LP in the religious sections therefore its initial sales tally was an unbelievably low 650 copies, If that was not rare enough 500 of these were in STEREO format as this had become the preferred format by the very end of the sixties. This means that amazingly only 150 MONO pressings were sold making this one of the most scarce records in existence.


 


Condition~


Today I am offering a superb example with EXCELLENT+ vinyl surfaces and immaculate playback. The labels are fantastic although they do have an amount of spindle traces but they are only light.


Along with this amazing record comes the original red mono Decca inner sleeve and separate lyric insert which have both been preserved perfectly.


Finally the outer sleeve. This dark black laminated sleeve has a wonderful glossy shine with deep gold lettering and apart from a couple of inevitable creases is in very decent condition and has got to graded as VERY GOOD at least.

This is a true 1st press mono example with the vinyl looking incredible, it really does make this one of the most collectable records there is.
