THE LABELS    MATT LABELS WITH THE LARGE MAD HATTER

THE SLEEVE

Original 1st edition MATT TEXTURED GATEFOLD sleeve with red lettering on the spine!

 Printer credits   - E.J.DAY

AS YOU CAN SEE THIS IS THE 1ST ISSUE SLEEVE -... WITH THE  TEXTURED  FINISH

LITTLE SIGN OF HANDLING AND THERE'S NO RUB OF ANY NOTE AT ALL

THE SLEEVE IS IN SUPERB SHAPE- NO DULLING ANYWHERE- NO GRUBBY MARKS ANYWHERE

NO RINGWEAR

THE OPEN EDGE IS RAZOR SHARP WITH NO FEATHERING .

BOTH PANELS ARE SUPERB WITH NO RING PRESS

VINYL: VG+ / EX.  I can only say this is in great condition with just a couple of wispy hairlines on side A, side B is immaculate, plays with no distortion, no jumps, barely played. The vinyl looks glossy with a superb sheen.  NO marks. Please view all pictures for a true impression of this beautiful classic. I have played it on my Linn Sondek Arcam set up and it sounded gorgeous with the fullest possible audio as only a true first press ever can with barely any static at all.

GATEFOLD SLEEVE : EX.  UK 1st Press non-laminated gate-fold cover. With B&C 37 Soho Square, London, W1. credit on the inside cover at the bottom is Printed E.J. Day.  Rarely seen, fully textured  in full lustre, no fading. The spine has the original first press red lettering which is fully legible. Opening the gatefold, it still produces that "creak", which is evidence that this album has not been handled much. Two tiny creases on the back sleeve to the top left, otherwise beautifully preserved. No evidence of wear apart from the bottom edge which has some light storage wear, this is as good as it gets for this album. Very crisp opening.

LABELS:

Clean, No Writing, no spindle traces, no damage.
