GENESIS Carpet Crawlers b/w The Waiting Room (Evil Jam) (Charisma CB 251) RARE UK PROMO 1st Pressing MINT
A RARE UK PROMO first pressing of Genesis` single "Carpet Crawlers" b/w "The Waiting Room (Evil Jam)" on Charisma Records (April 1975).
"The UK single has a 4’33 edit with a new intro made of the guitar arpeggios normally played during the verses (and different from the album version intro). On the album version, these arpeggios are never played without Peter singing over them, which is why I consider it a new intro. This new intro leads to the “crawlers cover the floor” verse, skipping the first section of the album version. " - Dougal at 45cat.com (May 2014).

- White stock sleeve, probably the 1975 original.
MINT(-) RECORD in practically perfect condition. A near-impossible find like this!
- Both sides of the single have been played perhaps once.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "CB 251 A - 1U A Porky Prime Cut" and "CB 251 B - 1U".
- This copy of Genesis` "Carpet Crawlers" is certified to be an original UK PROMO first pressing, released in April 1975.
