1st UK pressing / 1978 / Vinyl LP
Original 1978 UK 1st pressing of the excellent debut album by seminal punk band Generation X, featuring Billy Idol on vocals and Tony James (Sigue Sigue Sputnik) on bass & vocals. A fantastic mix of punk and power-pop, including the classics "100 Punks" and "Ready Steady Go".
Initial 1st press copies were issued on, gradient blue, Chrysalis labels in a card picture sleeve opening at the top, some with a printed 'obi' style horizontal strip stating 'The debut album from Generation X' on the front and with a track listing on rear. Later pressings were issued in a side opening sleeve.

Owned by myself since release in 1978. Played rarely and carefully handled in my smoke and pet-free home.

Sleeve: Very Good
Vinyl:
Visual condition: Rarely-played LP in VG+ condition. Just one, small, faint, scratch to track 5, side 2, which does not affect play or sound at all.
Audible condition: Excellent audio throughout, with no jumps, clicks or pops and no distortion or background noise.
Sleeve:
Condition: Sleeve is better than VG. Stiff & flat, with no bends, tears, marks, cuts or stickers; just a few faint creases and light wear to edges & corners. A little more wear to spine at both ends (see photo's). Top-loading sleeve and poly-lined inner. Clean labels. No obi.
