Description :
Offered up is this fairly scarce 1958 issue of "Gene Vincent Rocks And The Blue Caps Roll" (T970) on Capitol Records. This was their third album. True pioneers, their sound would influence rock music for generation!
Side 1: Brand New Beat, By The Light Of The Silvery Moon, You'll Never Walk Alone, Frankie And Johnnie, In My Dreams and Flea Brain
Side2: Rollin' Danny, You Belong To Me, Your Cheatin' Heart, Time Will Bring You Everything, Should I Ever Love Again and It's No Lie
The record is visually graded a VG to VG+, with a few scuffs and a few light surface scratches, as well as a piece of tape on the label on each side. I guess that was a name label never filled out. It could be removed without damageing the label by using Ronson lighter fluid and a soft touch. It works! The inner sleeve has been replaced. The cover is a VG+ for it's age. There is a 4" seam split on the top and a 3" one on the bottom in the center. A little shelf scuffing and mild discoloration round out the condition report. So, if you need this to fill a gap in your early rock collection, why not toss in a bid, because it's being offered at a low open and NO RESERVE!!
