Description
Copy of lp by Gene Vincent.Cover features round promo sticker. Cover in unusual shape with no seam splits or cracks. Some cover wear from age and it looks as if someone raked it with a something but one has to look for the marks to find them.On the back cover in upper left corner someone has written numbers 1715 in sharpie(did they have those back when???)but not so big as to spoil appearence of cover.Record is on Capitol black rainbow label T-1059.In the lower left of labels it says "FOR RADIO-TV PROGRAM USE" and then "PROMOTIONAL COPY NOT FOR SALE".When I got the record it was dirty but I didn't see much in the way of scratches so I went ahead.Cleaned up on my VPI HW17 shows it has some of what I consider shelf wear. But really shined up nice.My system consists of Mcintosh and Klips corners so I consider it to be really nice.I have played this over and over and can't find a place where it doesn't sound good.I'm as picky as they come about such things and maybe even worse.Anyway I would rate both the lp and cover as excellent.
