GENE SHAW – DEBUT IN BLUES – ARGO JAZZ 726 – M-/M- - MONO
Recorded on July 8, 1963, this Argo session features Gene Shaw on trumpet, Herb Wise on trombone, Jay Peters on tenor, Jim Taylor on piano, Sid Robinson on bass and Jerold Donovan on drums. Side 1: DEBUT IN BLUES; KARACHI; THE GENTLE PRINCESS and WHEN SONNY GETS BLUE. SIDE 2: THIEVES CARNIVAL; NOT TOO COOL; WHO KNOWS and TRAVALOG. This is a MONO recording.
I have graded both the LP and the record jacket M- for the following reasons. The vinyl on both sides of the LP is completely clean of any marks. There is no sign of wear in or around the spindle hole. The record racket is in excellent condition with little to no sign of wear. There is some very slight discoloration on the liner notes. If you have any questions, please email me and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thanks.
PAYMENT & SHIPPING
Satisfaction guaranteed on item. I regret that the USPS has raised their prices. The LP will be well packed. Fully packed in a crush proof box, it weighs 1.8 pounds. Due to increased cost, I have to charge an additional $1.00 for packing in the crush proof box. Believe me, it’s worth it! The method of payment is PayPal. As of October 20, 2008, eBay has decided to make PayPal the only method of payment for this item! This way, eBay has you coming and going! If you are a bidder who prefers to pay by other means, I suggest that you file a complaint! I regret the inconvenience. The LP will be shipped either by Media Rate @ $2.98 or by Priority Mail @ $5.80 and up depending where you reside. Overseas bidders should consider First Class Mail International. The cost to Europe and Asia begins at $20.45 in the crush proof box. It’s worth it! USPS has hammered overseas shipping!
