GENE AMMONS AND HIS ALL STARS “Groove Blues” Prestige 1961 VG+ Vinyl
This is the 1961 pressing of GENE AMMONS AND HIS ALL STARS’s “Groove Blues” on Prestige PR 7201. (JG)
Deep groove, RVG stamped VINYL is clean, VG+. With occasional pops or ticks. No scratches, no warps. Good gloss. DIMPLE on lead in groove. The "Prestige” fireworks labels are clean with spindle marks. See photos.
COVER is in OK shape. Seams and spine solid, but worn. Front jacket has glue stains. Back jacket shows aging, stains, pencil handwriting (“4”). Corners worn. Please see photos.
This LP was play-tested on a high-end audio system. Record cleaned on ProJect VCS and or Audio Desk Systeme Vinyl Pro Cleaner. Some records photographed prior to cleaning.
