Superclean pressing of legendary melody punk/poppunk/surfpunk classic from the West Coast. Only 1,000 copies were made. This triple A-side stomper was born in Los Angeles and goes by the title Let’s Go To The Beach EP. You are bidding on the only 7“ release by the GEARS. This is the original first pressing, released on the private mini-punk label ‘Four Speed Music’ in 1979. ‘Don’t Be Afraid To Pogo’ (what a brilliant title for a punk song) is pure singalong punk with powerful and very fast straight forward guitar hero riffs, a super-dooooper smasher. The other two tracks are fast, catchy and very melodic poppunk/surf punk blasts. ‘Hard Rock’ was born with many oh-oh-oh’s in the background and also appears on the great BLOODSTAINS ACROSS CALIFORNIA sampler.
