Description

ARTIST : GARY FRENCH AND THE TROPICANA SEXTET

BOUQUET POUR HAITI

TRACKS : See Picture

LABEL : A.H.A records AHA103OG French Press YEAR : 1971

FORMAT : 33 Rpm 12'' LP

VISUAL : Sleeve is VG (used seams, partly torn seams, ringwear, little writing) Labels EX

AUDIO : VG+ (numerous light ticks, not disturbing play)

COMMENT : One of the two only known releases on the super tough to find AHA label, co-founded by Gary French. Super diverse LP showcasing all the Tropicana skills : from straight Guaguanco (check the Willie Colon cover), to psyched up compas (check the original Django movie theme and Hey Jude covers). Recommended !
