Description
Here's a great 1972 release on the Seraphim label (IS-6100). Wilhelm Furtwangler conducts the Rome Symphony & Chorus of Radio Italy in a 1953 performance of Wagner's complete Ring Cycle. Boxed 19 album release, each opera is seperately boxed with NM libretto. Volumes 1 and 2 are opened, but volumes 3 and 4, as well as the "Seraphim Guide to the Ring" LP remains new & sealed.
Condition - The slip case shows wear and staining. The slip case grades at VG-. The individual box sets Volumes 3 and 4, as well as the single LP Seraphim Guide to the Ring, are all still sealed and unused. Volumes 1 and 2 of the individual opera boxes show light wear. The boxes grade at VG+ to NM-. The records in Volumes 1 & 2 are shiny with few signs of use. The records in the open boxes grade at NM-. The boxes and records of the sealed records grade at Mint.
Regarding shipping - I ship quickly using new, professional grade materials. Shipping can be combined on multiple title orders.
Regarding grading - I try to grade by Goldmine standards - Mint (M), Near Mint (NM), Near Mint Minus (NM-), Very Good Plus (VG+), Very Good (VG), Very Good Minus (VG-), Good (G). I do not use the grade Mint on unsealed, opened records, discs or tapes. I reserve that designation for sealed items only. The highest grade I give opened, unsealed items is NM. Grading here is strictly by sight unless specifically noted in the condition section.
