Fully Autographed Copy of the

Fairport Convention 'Nine' Vinyl LP on Island Records. ILPS 9246 UK 1973.

This is hand signed by all of the band in the current line-up at the time.

With the added bonus signature of Sandy Denny on the reverse sleeve !!

Although Sandy had departed the band at the time of it's release she was still very much friends with and associated with them and of course her partner Trevor Lucas was in the line-up.

Autographed by each band member inside the gatefold sleeve next to their own photograph.

With of course the exception of Dave Pegg, who being his usual prankster self decided he would sign his name next to Dave Mattacks instead.

That is typical of Peggy !!

Signatures include Jerry Donahue, Trevor Lucas, Dave Pegg, Dave Mattacks, Dave Swarbrick. And on the reverse side Sandy Denny.

This is from my own personal collection, although this particular album was one of my Dad's. Who was a huge collector of records.

He was a part of the early 70s folk club scene at the time in St. Albans and as such we have in our family many signed items by the likes of Fairport and Steeleye Span etc.

Now for the downside...

Sadly this LP is not in beautiful condition.

The sleeve is rather tatty, please see the photos.

There is some kind of scratch on the front cover sleeve.

The actual vinyl itself is not so bad thankfully and does play fine throughout on my turntable without skips or jumps or crackles.

Hence this is really only up for sale because of the autographsautograph. But nevertheless it is a beautiful piece in it's own right !!
