Description
The Soul-Bender is based on the legendary Colorsound and Vox Series III ToneBenders made by Sola-Sound/England in the late '60's that was used by Beck and Page on much of their circa 1968-70 recordings. Equipped with 3 gain-matched germanium transistor for a FAT, searing lead tone, I've improved on the original by adding an internal trimmer allowing you to reshape the distortion from Rich legato sustain to bombastic all-out square fuzz. I also made the Tone control response and range more usable and much less shrill sounding... Full clockwise is SMOOTH sounding. The Soul-Bender cleans up when you back-off on the guitar's volume control. This pedal has tons of tonal character and even harmonics and of course, true bypass w/ LED is included with every one.
La Soul-Bender est basée sur les légendaires ToneBenders Colorsound et Vox Serie III fabriqués par Sola-Sound/England à la fin des 60's, et utilisés par Beck et Page sur la plupart de leurs enregistrements de 1968 à 70.
Equipé de 3 transistors germanium "gain-matched" pour des sons leads épais et définis, Fulltone a amélioré l'original en ajoutant un contrôle du type de distorsion vous permettant d'obtenir des sons fluides et riches ou des ambiances plus agressives façon Fuzz radical. La tonalité est egalement plus performante avec un contrôle de la réponse et de la bande passante plus important.
Le Soul-Bender devient plus propre lorsque vous baisser le volume de la guitare, tout en conservant le caractère tonal de l'instrument. Il est utilisé entre autre par l'incontournable Eric Johnson et Robin Trower.
