Description
Here's a rare EP from short-lived Berkeley psychedelic group 'Frumious Bandersnatch'. This group included Jimmy Warner on guitar and vocals; Bob Winkelman on rhythm guitar and vocals; Jackson King on drums and vocals; David Denny on lead guitar and vocals; and Journey founding member Ross Valory on bass and vocals. (Personal and tour managers Jim Nixon, and Herbie, are also mentioned.
All three cuts are original: Side A: Hearts To Cry (King); and Misty Cloudy (Winkelman). Side B: Cheshire (Winkelman). Hearts To Cry sometimes appears on 60's psychedelia compilations.
More psychedelic madness is evident on the labels. Recording is attributed to 'Muggles Gramophone Works'. On the jacket, the recording is dedicated to The Mills Brothers. Finally in the production credit, 'Produced In Association With PHR -Pacific High Recording-' Association is misspelled 'associtation'
Condition description: clear purple vinyl and labels fully intact; Side B label slightly off center. Jacket is split top and bottom, and shows visible wear. Perhaps appropriately, there is colored candle wax on front.
