Offered is the 1st Edition Pressing of Elvis' Christmas Album, the most popular Christmas album of all time! This was Elvis Presley's Debut Christmas Album, and his 3rd LP Studio Album.

Elvis' Christmas Album was issued as deluxe limited edition, released in October 1957, and recorded at Radio Recorders in Hollywood. It has been reissued in numerous different formats since its first release. It spent four weeks at number one on the Billboard Top Pop Albums chart, and was the first of two Christmas-themed albums Presley would record, the other being Elvis Sings the Wonderful World of Christmas released in 1971. The publication Music Vendor listed Elvis' Christmas Album on their singles charts for two weeks in December 1957 – January 1958, with a peak position of #49.

According to the Recording Industry Association of America, (RIAA), Elvis' Christmas Album along with its reissues has shipped at least 17 million copies in the United States. It is the first Presley title to attain Diamond certification by the RIAA, and is also the best-selling Christmas album of all time in the United States. With total sales of more 20 million copies worldwide, it remains the world's best-selling Christmas album and one of the best-selling albums of all time.

THE VINYL -  Lightly played with minimal evidence of spindlewear, both of the LP surfaces retain all of their original gloss. 
 
Evident are some light marks from sleevewear, and some shallow hairlines. Black and Silver RCA Victor "Nipper the Dog" labels with bright color (please see photos). 
 
The record has been carefully handled, infrequently played, and the mono audio playback is impressive:

Side 1  is EX+ with very few shallow marks and 4S Stampers.

Side 2  is EX with a few more shallow marks and 3S Stampers.





THE COVER -   VG :  Please see the photos. This 1st Edition Deluxe issue came with a number of color photos of The King that have that 1950's, Hollywood movie star photo style. 

From the 3rd photo in the gallery, you can see that the front cover has  completely separated from the rest of the cover. The remaining pages remain well-affixed to the binding, although the binding is looking a bit brittle and dry from age.

Also present is some minor front and back cover scuffing / 2 small tears you see see on the photos of the front and back cover that may be where a sticker(s) was removed / bright colors / all of the other seams are intact / no writing, other paper loss, paper tears or stains.




We have placed both the cover and the LP into separate, protective plastic sleeves.
