GERARD MANSET - 1968 (EMI Pathe 2C062.11788, France 1971)
This is the 2nd edition of his first album from 1968, released 3 years later in a totally different cover. Gerard Manset was one of the most important songwriter, poet and arrangeur of the early french underground scene and also very active. This, his 1st album, is a fine amalgam of pop pieces mixed with psychedelia and experimental arrangements, unique for this time with a strong charming period touch.
The record is in very good plus plus (vg+) condition, has many paper scuffs and hairlines and several surface marks, plays with surface cracklings on several parts - but NOT in a loud or disturbing way - NO jumps or pos etc.
