Freedom of Speech by Phantom Band.
12 inch LP record released by Sky, 10 tracks.
Freedom of Speech is a stunning avant rock record informed by the New York no wave scene and the European reggae/dub scene, with Can's history in genre-pushing repetitive rock serving as the foundation. Freedom of Speech is a darker, edgy record than their first album. It retains the Krautrock-gone-dub feel of the first album, but drops all pretensions of charting to present a more mature, better asserted group sound wrapped in a production that has aged much better than the debut LP. (LP features Jaki Liebezeit on drums)
This record is in good condition.
The cover is in good condition. There is some wear to the edges and corners. There is some shelf wear overall as well as some scuffs and marks. There is a minor scuff/bump to the spine.
The record is in good condition. The playing surface has a few very minor marks. There is some slight surface noise. I have played the record through and it plays perfectly (no jumps or skips).
