Description
A rare 1st pressing vinyl LP copy of "Tons of Sobs" by Free on the Island label (ILPS 9089) featuring gate fold sleeve and pink labels with the Black and Orange "Eye" logo .
I class the outer gate fold sleeve as "Very Good " with wear marks to all edges and minor ring wear to the rear and inner cover and some small spots of wear on the front. The disc itself I would class as "Very Good" as it retains its lustre but has some visible marks. Labels are "Very Good". Label side 1 has a small sticker stain and there is some slight spindle damage to both (see photos). The original inner paper sleeve I would grade as "Very Good - " with some creasing and a split on the bottom edge. Matrix A2/B2.
Classifications in accordance with Record Collector Magazine's Record Collector Grading System and are possibly slightly pessimistic compared to some other sellers/collectors.
Tracks:
Side 1 - Over The Green Hills Pt 1/Worry/Walk in My Shadow/Wild Indian Woman/Goin' Down Slow
Side 2 - I'm a Mover/The Hunter/Moonshine/Sweet Tooth/Over The Green Hills Pt 2
