Great, Extremely Rare, Classic West Michigan Psych Rock from Forte! Phases And Faces is the album by The Fredric. It came out in 1968 and The Fredric were a huge part of the Grand Rapids/West Michigan garage psych rock scene in the mid to late sixties. They were contemporaries of The Soulbenders, The JuJus, The Pedestrians, all the bands that recorded on the Fenton label, etc.... I'm starting it at a low minimum bid and no reserve. The cover is VG++. There are no stickers (other than the 'stereo' sticker on the front cover, which, I think was on all or most of these), cut-out marks, split seams or writing. Just a little edge wear and a small area on the back cover where there is some orange staining (it almost looks like it is transfer from the front of another Frederic album). The area is very small and doesn't obscure liner notes or anything. The vinyl is a solid VG+ with some minor scuffs and marrs but no major scratches. I listened all the way through both sides and besides the fact that it is an awesome album, it has some very minor surface noise and a few little pops but certainly nothing that skips or takes away from the music. It is a U.S. release on Forte Records FS 301 (is also has the number 80461 on both the label and back cover). Don't miss out on this great copy of a very rare psych record in wonderful shape!
