Description
This LP was originally issued in 1979 and has been re-pressed on many occasions and with many different label combinations. This issue has the rosette label....A red rosette on a blue coloured label. This has track one on side 2 as Bobby Bobylon............Some later versions have it as Bobby Babylon. There is no catalogue number listed on the label, but the run out groove has SOLP 0139. The label is a Jamaican label but I think this is a USA pressing as the record came pre shrink wrapped which they do in the USA. The cover still retains the original shrink wrap open just along the side to get the record out..........The cover has no creases or tears, just a tiny dink at the opening. The vinyl is visually graded as VG+ with just a few hairlines caused by getting the record out and back in from the paper inner sleeve. The record plays perfectly with no scratches or jumps and no pops, crackles or surface noise...All of which suggest a USA pressing rather than a JA pressing. Not rare but this is a very good copy.
