Blue Note 4085, Mono, 1st first original 1962 US mono pressing, adress on label: „Blue Note Records INC, New York USA“

 

RVG stamp in dead wax and „ear“ on both sides

 

Matrix / Runout (Side A): BN-LP-4085-A engraved by hand

Matrix / Runout (Side B): BN-LP-4085-B engraved by hand

 

Condition:

LP: The shiny surface almost shows no signs of wear, one or two hairlines, rarely played.

Play graded is VG ++, but Side B, Track 2 does has a mark (see last photo) during the drum solo of Elvin Jones, that causes 8 clicks while rotating. Other than that, this is a very enjoyable copy! Heavy vinyl.


Unfortunatly, the German ebay system is not capable uploading a sound clip as sample.  

 

Cover: VG (+) (laminated high gloss cover, look at the photographs, the seams are intact, but have some wear / loss top left and right, where the opening is)
