This is an auction of a Freddie Hubbard - Hub Cap - HEAVY VINYL ORIGINAL PRESSING ? BLUE NOTE 4073 WITH RVG AND THE 'EAR' STAMPED ON BOTH SIDES - 47 West 63rd label on side 1, New York USA on side 2. GREAT! Cleaned on my VPI machine. With Julian Priester, Jimmy Heath, Cedar Walton, Larry Ridley and Philly Joe Jones. Engineered by Rudy Van Gelder with RVG AND THE 'EAR' STAMPED ON BOTH SIDES. A great classic Jazz LP. BIDDERS NOTE - FOR SOME REASON THE BACK COVER IS SIGNED BY "BILLY TAYLOR", BUT SINCE HE DOES NOT PLAY ON THIS LP - I HAVE NO IDEA IF THIS IS "THE" BILLY TAYLOR JAZZ PIANIST OR NOT. I make no guarantee regarding the signature - selling the LP as a rare Blue Note bop classic which you should want anyway!
Record is visually graded as VG+ with LIGHT hairlines PLAY GRADES mostly Mint-, cover is VG+ with some edge wear at corner tips, foxying spots on back, some writing and a piece of the back cover slick missing at lower right corner.
