Description

Freddie Hubbard FIRST Light. Condition is "Used". Shipped with USPS Media Mail. Freddie Hubbard had the fushion fray with Red Clay in 1970. A head on meeting of fusion and hard bop, but then slipped funk and soul into the mix with his Straight Life. With First Light, his third and final album with CTI, Hubbard has boldly decided to expand his project and musical outlook by adding strings whilst continuing with the jazz/funk/ soul approach. Some of his main people with him on the session are Jack DeJohnette- drums, Ron Carter- bass, George Benson - guitar, and Hubert Laws - flute along with a complete woodwind and string section. Selections for the album are; First Light, Uncle Albert^Admiral Halsey, Moment To Moment, Yesterday's Dreams, and Lonely Town. Both the record and the cover are in near mint condition.(See photos).
