Description

Franklyn "Future Love" (Genora W-122446) stupid rare disco boogie 12" original promo, produced by Andre Lovell

Record: VG++
Cover: VG+

You are looking at a copy of the mega-rarity "Future Love" by Franklyn. I do not use hyperbole such as "mega" lightly. This 80s boogie track has been a hot commodity for the past year or so, and copies are getting rarer and rarer. This is my last copy and I don't expect to see another one.  This original promo record is not dated, and it seems that little is known about this track, but what a good groove.  This copy was carefully cleaned and viewed closely under bright light and a magnifying glass. There are NO pressing issues with this one, no bubbles or visible impurities.  In addition, there seem to be little to no use marks or sleeve scuffs on this copy-- any scuffs created by sliding the record into the sleeve seem to be in the run-out grooves. There are no visible marks in the song itself.  If you have never seen this 12", the grooves on it are not very spread out; the run-out grooves (matrix) take up roughly half of the record. Play testing proves very minor surface noise before the start of the track on both sides, but this is minimal and does not effect play-- for diehard collectors, I imagine that deep cleaning with a VPI machine would make this record NM. Song plays clean in both mixes (A: 5:32, B: 5:38) and this is a stellar copy of a record that most of us will never see.  Jacket is the original sunset orange jacket, with a partial decal (DJ? radio?) that lists the track and BPM.  The jacket has moderate edgewear on the lower part of the opening, edgewear on the top, and a cardboard peeling on the back about the size of a price sticker (looks like someone peeled a sticker off it and it took off the top layer of paper).  This is as nice as you can ask for with a record as scarce as this.

SHIPPING INFO
Domestic US: Shipping is $10.00 for USPS Insured Priority with Delivery Confirmation.  This cost covers a true LP mailer and cardboard stiffener, and this cost reflects the demand of this particular record-- it will be packed with additional protection.  I have had the best luck with swift shipping and it makes a difference for both seller and buyer. NO media mail.  Insurance will be included on this item due to its scarcity.

International (Outside US): Shipping is $15.00 Air Post for UK and Western Europe, and buyer assumes risk for shipping.  Other location shipping will be determined for the winner.
PLEASE NOTE: any item that exceeds $50 final value MUST be shipped USPS OVERSEAS REGISTERED for safety reasons- this is trackable and requires signature. This is usually just under $25-- Do not bid if you disagree with these conditions, they are firm and protect buyer and seller alike. I ship frequently and usually ship within 12 hours of receiving payment.
