BURNT WEENY SANDWICH

(UK REPRISE, RSLP 6370, 1970)


RARE ORIGINAL UK pressing of this classic FZ album - the first posthumous Mothers release after the original band broke up in late 1969. As Reprise were distributed by Pye over here in the UK at the time and Pye would not have anything to do with FZ's lack of commercial potential, all distribution for Zappa albums was handled by CBS at the time here instead, who were much better at making records than Pye in my opinion anyway! This is quite a confusing pressing with both RSLP and K matrix numbers in the run out groove, meaning it must be a crossover from late 1970 from the Kinney take over period. Still has the original beautiful tri-colour label and the original RSLP sleeve though. A great example and a nice one for the FZ completist! Great stuff! Very hard to find now! Don't miss out!


Vinyl is in EX condition : some light surface marks which do not affect play, plays well with some light surface noise in quieter parts

Gatefold sleeve is in VG++ condition : edges are a little worn, spine is a little worn but still legible, back has some ring wear (visible in 3rd pic), front has very light wear, inside looks great with minimal wear
