1st press 1968 release - very rare especially in this condition
First press matrix marks - V6 8741 A-1G & V6 8742 B-1G.
Very first stampers - Side 1 stampers G at 3 o'clock and 1 at 9 o;clock. Side 2 G at 3 o'clock and 1 at 9 o'clock.
Wide spine cover
VINYL – Superb sheen and plays beautifully. At most 2 to 3 plays. Fresh gloss surfaces with only minor very superficial hairlines. Superb clear and powerful near perfect sound – no clicks or jumps. Visual and Audio both EX+
LABELS - near perfect with almost no signs of spindle use. Misaligned Side 1 label (see photo). EX+
SLEEVE: Original gatefold Garrod & Lofthouse laminated sleeve with wide fully legible spine. Some very slight rubbing to edges. Rates at least EX
I use a slight variant on RC gradings (see below) but tend to grade conservatively because, firstly, as a collector myself, I know how frustrating it is to receive ‘over-graded’ items and, secondly, I am having a clearout over the coming months (years?) and wish to maintain and develop a good reputation. I never grade a used record as Mint as that is a contradiction in terms. All of my records have been play tested.
All records have been cleaned with a Moth machine.

While I describe items as honestly and accurately as I can (and use photos of the actual items), a refund is guaranteed if you are not satisfied with the items as described. This has not been necessary to date and my feedback has been 100% positive.

Record Collector Grading System:
M = Mint: Never been played or item still sealed. Cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster (ie contents) are in perfect condition.
Ex = Excellent: Shows some signs of being played but there is very little lessening in sound quality. Cover and contents might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VG = Very Good: Obviously been played many times but no major deterioration in sound quality despite noticeable surface marks and occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on cover or contents, without any major defects.
Gd = Good: Sound quality has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion. Mild scratches. Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc.
Fair: Still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise - it may even jump. Cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defacedprice rating
