Frank Zappa 1969 Uncle Meat 2LP Mothers of Invention 12-page Booklet Sticker Cover

Rare opportunity to acquire this early original US copy of the Mothers of Invention's double-LP Uncle Meat. Bought second hand in 1978 by the present owner, this is the auto-stack version with side one coupled to side four and sides 2 and 3 together. The record itself has just been played and is extremely clean and pop free. The heavy duty US gatefold is outwardly crisp and tough without outer wear (see photos), but on inspection has splits along the top half of the front and the inner top, also some splits at bottom corners. The two original inner sleeves are both clean, crisp and unwritten upon, but also exhibit splits along their seams. However, the 12-page 12" x 12" colour booklet is superb and has survived almost like new. All-in-all a lovely late '60s item.
