Description

Brunswick 8443, recorded 1939, 78rpm. See condition below—read all please.

“Several times that year [Harry] James took his band into recording studios. Five records came out of the sessions, each earning Frank a $50 fee over and above his weekly pay. These were his first commercial records.”—Sinatra: The Life, Anthony Summers & Robbyn Swan, Knopf Doubleday Publishing Group, 2005

The Harry James discography shows that this record, recorded July 13, 1939, was the first of the five records.—Wikipedia: Harry James Discography.

CONDITION: Plays through well with some surface noise. Edge chip (see last photo) on “From The Bottom…” side. Short adjacent scratch on that side also, causing clicks in the first approximately dozen revolutions. Minor visible wear around spindle hole.

Pay Pal ONLY. My offers will nearly always be mailed USPS Media Mail within 24 hours of payment. Will be packaged well. Multiple purchases combined to save shipping costs.

Full refund granted if I make an error in the description. Buyer may return this item for any reason within 30 days of purchase if returned in the same condition as when sent. (Buyer pays return postage.)
