Collection of professionally edited tracks, ranging from 1:18 to 1:57 in length, designed to fill briefer-than-normal programming gaps, to allow back-timing from top-of-the-hour, newsbreaks, etc.: "for radio programming use. It is not for sale." All tracks appear to be edited from mono mixes."Producer" Jack Wagner was a L.A. deejay and National Radio/TV Services Manager for Capitol who oversaw a number of promotional products for Capitol, including open-ended interviews, radio-station plugs, and hosted new-release samplers. The engineer who did the actual editing is not credited on the release, but Billboard for 13 May 1967 credits Allen Davis "One of Davis' most time -consuming tasks is preparing an LP of 'Minute Masters' featuring an artist of the month..." [Davis reputedly scripted and created the interview 7"s as well].
