Description
Up for auction, another four-song EP on the UK RCA label entitled "More Congo Rhythm." It is cat. # 7EN 102, part of the Loningisa Series. The first side of the record features two songs composed by De Wayon, "Tongo se elangisa," (sung by Vicky & Rossignol accompanied by Franco & Essous), and "Alliance-mode-Succes," with Vicky, Franco, & Essous. The B side features two songs by the Orchestra O.K. Jazz, "Hellena El Mujos" and the excellent "Dzioke Kuami", both sung by Mujos. The vinyl is very clean, m- condition with full original gloss. Each side contains about six minutes of music, so the record plays with a little background noise, but overall a very nice listening experience as you can hear in this sound sample. The pop-out center is intact as you can see from the scan and the label is pristine. The picture sleeve is also in excellent condition, very colorful with original gloss and only some very minor wear to some of the corners. Someone has written "NH 2/62" in ball point pen on the top r-hand corner of back cover, very small... I'm not sure when this was made but it sounds like early '60s to me.
