ASTRAL DREAM RECORDS

We are a well established web records shop since 1995 specialised in original vinyl lps from sixties and seventies with special care for UK and worldwide progressive music. We  assure a professional and competent service with more than 35 years of experience in the record collecting market. Be confident on our service! Please come in our site clicking the above link, you're Welcome!

PLEASE CONSIDER THAT IN THESE EBAY AUCTIONS I USE A STRICT RECORD COLLECTOR MAGAZINE GRADING SYSTEM THAT CAN'T DISAPPOINT ANYONE BUT THIS DOESN'T MEAN THAT ,FOR EXAMPLE,  A VG+ COVER OR A VG+ VINYL  IT'S EQUIVALENT TO "BAD CONDITIONS" BUT SIMPLY THAT MY GRADE IT'S STRICT AND PROBABLY EQUIVALENT TO AN EX OF SOMEONE ELSE WITH  NOT A SO STRICT GRADE. I HAVE SOLD IN THESE AUCTIONS EX- RECORDS THAT WERE SURELLY M- COPIES BUT I PREFERE TO BE STRICT TO AVOID ANY DISAPPOINTEMENT BECAUSE I TAKE GREAT CARE OF MY REPUTATION.

The auctioned item it's rare and probably pressed in 99 copies. I have see it two times in the catalogue of two very famous records dealers at over 750 pounds.

graded VG++/EX- for a strict Record Collector magazine grading system

label: the black label with silver writing does have MID 1367 as catalogue number and denote that this lp it's a MONO pressing that for the 1971 it's not so frequent. It is in very nice conditions and does not have wear if not 1 superficial mark for each side around the spindle hole, so it's an EX- for my strict grade.
cover: the cover it's a front laminated one and does have the minimal wear possible so a couple of superficial lamination creases on the right side and 1 on the left side close to the spine, no ring wear but some partial traces are visibles depend to the light on it. The back cover it's lightly yellowed in the very bottom edge where there's 1 crease in the left corner, nothing else so a very strong VG+ for a strict grade.
vinyl: the vinyl does have a very shining looking and does not have marks, just a couple of very superficials scuffs on side two and 1 in the side one so it plays perfectelly and I grade it EX-.
review: The way this delightful British homemade lp kicks off you’d think an early demo by The Seekers had been unearthed. The production is most crude and the guitars aren’t always in tune, but these shortcomings actually enhance the project, demonstrating the natural charm of their brand of electric folkrock. ‘A Friend’, ‘Bridges’, ‘Sometimes’, ‘The Chateau’, ‘These People’ and ‘Loving And Living’ all have catchy melodies strumming alongside the beat in garagy low-tech glory. ‘Her Silence’, ‘I Heard A Voice’, ‘I See A City’ and ‘Let Me Be’ are somber poignant acoustic ballads recorded with just guitar and Therese Henderson’s stirring vocals. In between are a few softly-strummed tunes like ‘Rise Up Again’ and ‘Goodbye Yesterday’. Very British sounding, alternating male and female lead vocals, sometimes touched with a folky mid-‘60s Rubber Soul lyricism. Features fourteen self-composed songs in all. Says on the back that many of the members didn’t even know each other until the rehearsal held two days prior to making the record. Member Paul Gateshill went on to appear on the even more outstanding Presence lp from the same label. Interesting cover featuring blueprint designs of various bridges....Don't miss this opportunity!!!
