Description
Here's an demo acetate containing a mystery track that's very much in a Bacharach/David/Warwick mode. After scouring discographies and copyrights, we still have no idea who the vocalist or songwriters are. It was recorded at Mirasound Studios in Manhattan, which has home to the first 16-track recorder, the Ampex AG-1000—and where the Crystals, Darlene Love and many others recorded. The disc is in VG+ condition with some light surface marks and excellent playback. The audio linked below comes directly from this copy:
