Description
You may have seen the film "Florence Foster Jenkins" starring Meryl Streep and Hugh Grant and did you spot "Mavis" Thelma Barlow who used to be in Coronation Street!, I thought it was a great film. Here we have an "Original" copy of the actual Florence Foster Jenkins singing Aria "Queen of the Night" and Señorita Mexicana accompanied By Cosme Mc Moon,
"By the way, this is supposedly a private recording wether or not it is I cannot tell as Melotone studios actually sold this with special order!?"
I would think it could be as it looks like an earlier copy as it is typed onto the record label later ones were printed by Melotone I should imagine? anyone out there that would know?
The Record in in what I would say good condition and plays well. The labels are reasonable a bit discoloured by the glue perhaps?
Please study the photos any more closeup photos just ask.
This actual record can be heard being played on my Credenza paste the links below. Although even the mighty Credenza couldn't make her sound any better!
I have never posted a 12" 78 rpm Record before . but will ensure it is well protected. or arrange own courier,
If you have any questions please ask before bidding . Thank You!
This is being listed elsewhere so may be withdrawn.
