Description

FLOATING POINTS– "CASCADE" LIMITED EDITION UNIVERSAL SPARKLE COLORED VINYL, LP, 2024

BRAND NEW, SEALED.

Check my feedback! People love my quality records!

Cascade pushes Floating Points sound forward into new places. The eight songs here are allowed to smoulder and spark for up to eight minutes at a time, allowing for more expansive exploration of sounds and grooves than ever before. Almost a decade on since Elaenia, his revered debut album, the composer has discovered new ways to thread his experiments outside of club music seamlessly into his music designed for the dancefloor.

Floating Points, led by Sam Shepherd, blends electronic, jazz, classical, and experimental music. Known for intricate production and textured soundscapes, their music features ambient synths, complex rhythms, and rich orchestration. The band often bridges genres, creating a unique sound thats both cerebral and atmospheric, appealing to fans of electronic and edm.
