DESCRIPTION: Fletcher Henderson band from December 1925 with plenty of solo work - on "Hay Foot, Straw Foot," Hawkins rips it up on a 32 bar bass sax solo. Light scuffing and a few scratches. Music clear and strong, some light occasional crackle.
I will not be listing any of Ken Swerilas' records this week, but next week will feature a virtually new Mississippi John Hurt Okeh, a late Okeh by Fiddling John Carson in similar shape and a very clean Ruth Lee / Kid Ory on Sunshine.
