Description

An original 1st press of TUSK from 1979. 'mastered by capitol'. Note label design is consistent with 1st press  and mentions 'manufactured in uk'. Whilst a lot of vinyl in this period was pressed super light - this release appears to buck the trend and is pressed very nice and heavy. It has a real feeling of quality to it. The vinyl comes housed in an original embossed cover with the bespoke double inners sleeves [four in total]. So, we're 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In great condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or sinister looking. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with a couple of deviations. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. High quality audio from a very decent pressing. Not all that much, here, to find fault with. A clean player into most of the quieter tracks. I detected a few isolated crackles in, perhaps, a couple of spots [e.g. Beautiful Child & Never Make Me Cry]. A couple of minor ticks early in 'Angel'. These very minor issues with the LP are greatly outweighed by a heck of a lot of very fine audio. Overall a great little player.
Cover (Ex) In super condition with precious little sign of ageing or wear. All surfaces look clean and unaged. Very little edge wear observable at all and the openings are still sharp/firm. The spine is 100% intact.
Inners (Ex) They all are in superb order. No splits. No signs of ageing.
