Description
Released in October 1979 by Warner Bros. Records, Tusk is the twelfth studio album by British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac. Following up on their mega-successful 1977 album Rumours, this ambitious double-LP pushed the band's sound into experimental pop, new wave, and art-rock territories, spearheaded primarily by songwriter and guitarist Lindsey Buckingham.
This specific US pressing (Catalog 2HS 3350) features the iconic textured, embossed cover art and includes the original printed cardstock inner sleeves.
Deadwax runouts indicate a pressing featuring Capitol mastering characteristics with specific stampers (such as "MASTERED BY CAPITOL" and the distinctive Winchester rifle/Los Angeles plant markings).
