Description
Fleetwood Mac "Self-Titled" (Stereo LP) MFSL 1-012
Super high fidelity limited edition pressing issued by the iconic Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab. A superb remaster of the brilliantly recorded studio sessions of the debut album of a reinvented Fleetwood Mac, fronted by Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham.
Pressed in Japan. Released in 1979.
Half-speed original masters cut by Stan Ricker, JVC.
Matrix numbers (hand etched in the dead wax):
Side 1 : MFSL-1-012-A1 S 1/2 P
Side 2 : MFSL-1-012-B-1 S 1/2 P RE-1
Both the wax and the jacket are in near mint condition, shy of "like new" by only minor cosmetic issues (detailed below).
Vinyl: Near Mint
Outstanding sound quality on this half-speed master of the original brilliantly recorded studio sessions.
The wax plays "like new". A few superficial paper scuffs / lines can be seen under bright light (not apparent in normal light) but have no impact on sound quality.
Labels are bright and clean, with crystal clear print.
Very faint spindle marks can be seen under bright light (not apparent in normal light).

Jacket: Near Mint
I would have cited the jacket condition as "like new" except for one minor cosmetic flaw, i.e. the hype sticker on the front of the jacket shows a small crease in the lower left corner.

This is a superb copy of the special Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab remaster of the classic debut album of Fleetwood Mac, reinvented with Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham fronting the band. Both the wax and jacket are in stunningly superb condition. You will be very "hard pressed" to find an unsealed copy of this gem in similar, much less better, condition.
A wonderful piece of rock history and a very special listen. Hoping this one goes to a good home.
My Profile / Policies:
Note: I've qualified for the "Top Rated Plus" seal from eBay, awarded to sellers who consistently deliver outstanding customer service.
Music is my passion. I’ve been a collector for more than 50 years and have thousands of records in my personal collection, focused largely on 50’s and 60’s rock ‘n’ roll. Recently retired, I look to downsize and sell select portions of my collection in hopes of financing future purchases of a few special pieces.
All records I offer are from my personal collection, each cleaned using my Nitty Gritty Record Cleaning Machine.
All are play graded (not just visually graded), employing Goldmine Price Guide standards.
As I take great care to accurately describe my items, I do not accept returns unless my item description is incorrect.
All records are packaged with the wax outside the jacket (to avoid seam split in transit), enclosed in a plastic sleeve and shipped in robust record mailer boxes via USPS Media Mail, tracking included.
International customers pay shipping costs and duties per the eBay Global Shipping Program guidelines.
Payment expected within 3 business days of auction closing.
